The Ortler Traverse | Italy

After 3 days skiing in the Dolomites at Val Gardena our group moved on to the beautiful Hotel Bella Vista on the famous Stelvio Pass owned by ski legend Gustavo Thoeni.

We spent 5 days rifugio to rifugio alpine touring the legendary Ortler range in the Italian Alps.  This heavily glaciated area of the Sud Tyrol offers tremendous skiing, great food and spectacular scenery. Followed by 2 days skiing in the Arlberg it made for a memorable adventure.
